This Holy Week, we were in the Brecon Beacons! Many thanks to everyone at Brecon Cathedral, Our Lady and St Michael’s Abergavenny and St Mary’s Brecon for allowing us to help celebrate this special time. We are of course eternally grateful as well to our brilliant tour secretaries, Owen, Liv and Pal for making the whole trip extremely stress-free and fun throughout.
Post Evensong at Brecon Cathedral – huge thanks to James Davies who guided us through our Palm Sunday Eucharist and Evensong
Singing Weelkes’ ‘Hosanna to the Son of David’ before the Palm Sunday procession at Brecon Cathedral
After our devotional performance at Our Lady and St Michael’s Abergavenny
On top of the Brecon Cathedral’s tower, with a great view of Pen y Fan, the Beacon’s highest peak
On the Fan Fawr trail (we didn’t make it to the top)
The minibus en route to Brecon from London (big thanks to our drivers Amy, George and Daria!)
Sopranos cooking up some delicious chilli on our first night
Each of the fantastic dishes served up by different voice parts each night. We are glad to report that no-one suffered from raw squash-induced indigestion
Patrick trying his hand at Jenga…
…success!
